Make the Thanksgiving season even more festive creating Thanksgiving crafts. There are thousands of Thanksgiving related crafts, suitable for young and old alike. Turkeys and pilgrims and Indians, oh my!
Gather up gourds, Indian corn, pumpkins, wheat and autumn leaves for children to add as decorations for your Thanksgiving table.
Creating greeting cards is another Thanksgiving craft project that will bring added enjoyment to family and friends. There is almost nothing better than a homemade card to let someone know that you are thinking of them. It can really brighten their day. Your child's homemade Thanksgiving card will stand out.
With the exception of card stock, you probably have enough materials around the house to make these cards. (If you are "crafty" you more than likely have the card stock, as well… it comes in handy for so many things other than greeting cards.)
Dried flowers and other objects from nature make wonderful additions to these cards. Secure them to the front of the card with glue. Besides greeting cards, let the children make dinner invitations, place cards, etc. The only limit is your and your child's creativity.
